Early Literacy Programs

We provide programs to fit each stage of your child's early development.

I've Just Begun!

0 to 12 months
Baby Rhyme Time: This highly interactive oral program for caregivers and babies incorporates rhyme, rhythm, songs and stories with the opportunity to stay, play, and meet other families. Offered in an six-week series for forty-five minutes per week, this program is for babies 0 to 12 months with a parent or caregiver.

6 to 23 months
Papa Time: For dads and other male caregivers and their young children aged 6 to 23 months. This three-week program is a fun time for dad to share books, rhymes, bounces, and tickles with his little one, and learn some skills to grow a great reader!

Now I’m One!

13 to 23 months
Baby Bookworms: Parents will learn what books work best for sharing with their child and will learn songs, rhymes, tickles and lullabies. This is a six-week series with each program lasting 45 minutes, for older babies 13 to 23 months with a parent or caregiver.

I’ve Turned Two!

Two to three years
ABC: You and Me! This program includes books, oral stories, rhymes, songs and an interactive play time. Geared for toddlers aged two and three years with a parent or caregiver, this 45-minute program is a six-week series.

1-2-3: Count With Me! This program for toddlers and their parents explores the world of early numeracy. This 45-minute program is a six-week series for children aged two and three years with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool

Two to five years
Toddler, Preschool or Family Storytimes are a six-week series.

Toddler Storytime is for two- and three-year-olds with a parent or caregiver.
Family Storytime is for two- to five-year-olds with a parent or caregiver.
Preschool Storytime is an independent experience for three- to five-year-olds.
