- 2019 Honens International Piano Competition & Festival
Get involved with Canada’s premier classical music festival at Memorial Park Library. Enjoy free piano lessons, instrument exploration, an Open Air outdoor concert and more. Registration is not required.
- Shakespeare for Everyone
Join members of the Department of English at the University of Calgary as they examine their favourite Shakespeare plays. Do their choices match yours? Enjoy lively discussions and thought-provoking themes, then decide which one comes out on top! Registration is not required.
- Mandy Stobo: Passion Portraits
Join Calgary-based artist Mandy Stobo for this hands-on workshop exploring collage and augmented reality. Registration is required.
- Made in Alberta: 20 Years of the Alberta Film Industry
Calgary International Film Festival celebrates its 20th Anniversary by hosting free screenings that highlight 20 years of films made in Alberta, including Inception, Brokeback Mountain, Passchendaele, and more. Registration is required.
- Spectral Illuminations IV
Stroll around the beautiful, historic and — for one night only — magically lit up Memorial Park Library for some mesmerizing projection art. In partnership with EMMEDIA Gallery and Production Society and Beakerhead. Registration is not required.
