Order your next great read through Curbside Holds Service

Curbside Holds Service is a contactless pickup service that allows you to retrieve your holds outside most Library locations throughout the city. Once we notify you that your holds are available, call the number posted on the Curbside Holds Pickup sign outside the Library and our staff will retrieve your holds for you.

Can't decide what to read next? With Build a Book Bag, simply fill out a short online form to let us know your reading preferences, and our staff will hand-pick a selection of great titles just for you. Whether you are interested in mystery, romance, or sci-fi, we’ll help you discover new material you’ll want to read. No need to browse the stacks!

    Stream the best in cinema with Kanopy. This online resource offers over 30,000 films, including inspiring documentaries, award-winning classics, international films, thrilling mysteries, and magical adventures the entire family can enjoy.

  • Pressbooks
    Do you dream of publishing your own book? Pressbooks is an easy-to-use digital service for book design and production. This digital self-publishing tool helps local writers to create, edit, format, and publish quality eBooks with their preferred eBook store or print-on-demand service.

Learn from an Elder

If you’re interested in local Indigenous history and culture, the Elders’ Guidance Circle now offers one-on-one virtual meetings for individuals and school groups. Meet with Indigenous Elders from Treaty 7 Nations and learn about their languages, traditions, and culture.

Did you know our Residencies program offers virtual one-on-one consultations? This is a great resource for aspiring writers, historians, composers, artists, and songwriters. Book a meeting with one of our talented individuals in residence to learn from an expert and receive feedback on your work.
