Central Library Event Spaces

Host your next event in one of five large event spaces at the new Central Library! From performances to private events, these fully accessible and beautiful spaces have everything you need to make your event a success.

Note: All event spaces are available until midnight at the latest, including tear-down, clean-up, and time for your guests to exit the building.

BMO Financial Group Community Room (Level 0)

The 80-person BMO Financial Group Community Room is perfect for private events and gatherings that require adjustable seating options, state-of-the art technology, and fully-integrated audio-visual solutions.

Features: Video conference technology, high-quality video projector, integrated sound system, Solstice Pod wireless presentation device, and AV Control system touch panels.
Capacity: 80 people.

Performance Hall (Level 0 and Level 1)

The Performance Hall features the Library’s largest display window at street level, state-of-the-art technology, and a reception area for pre-and post-event festivities. It's an ideal location for large-scale events, seminars, conferences, and private bookings. Please note that we are unable to host weddings at the Library.

Features:
15 feet x 32 feet (484 square feet) flat stage, high-quality sound system and professional data projector, livestream capability, AV control system touch panels, fully equipped microphone system, retractable screen and motorized black curtains, accessible seating, dedicated green room, dressing rooms, backstage area, Solstice Pod wireless presentation device.
Capacity: 336 fixed seats with additional, flexible seating for 64 people (max. 400 people).

0-13 (Level 0) and 0-14 (Level 0)

These two large, 50-person meeting rooms can be combined to host 100. Perfect for private events and gatherings that require adjustable seating options and state-of-the art technology. Offers fully-integrated audio-visual solutions and adjustable layout options.

Features:
Video conference technology, high-quality video projector, integrated sound system, Solstice Pod wireless presentation device, and AV Control system touch panels.
Capacity: 50 people per room, or combined to accommodate 100 people.

Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery

The main entrance to enter and exit the building, the Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery will be a busy thoroughfare and an awe-inspiring and unique venue for large-scale special events, celebrations, and after-hours private bookings. Flooded with natural light, the open-air Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery is a versatile and breathtaking space. Please note that we are unable to host weddings at the Library.

Features: 5,000 square feet, direct access to the Performance Hall reception area, feature stairs with seating, welcome stand and podium, and flexible layout options.
