Imagine if every Canadian did 3 things to celebrate Canada’s 150th. Just picture it: 100 Million acts of service for our communities, in our nation, and our world!
Spending time at your community library in person or online is an incredible way to immerse yourself in great Canadian works of poetry, stories, history, and science (see Centre Spread).
If you haven’t already picked up a free copy of our Great Reads for 2017 reading guide…get one today and start reading! Share your favourites with #Read150, encourage others to get the reading habit, and enter to win great monthly prizes!
As winter becomes a memory, plan now to spend Canada Day at Central Library. We’ll be celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday with an indoor campfire, a massive LEGO construction site, storytimes throughout the day, and more (see page 16).
And if you are wondering how to keep the kids busy once school is out, check out School’s Out: 3 Things for Canada! Join us on June 17 for the launch of this exiting program with games & food for the whole family (see page 13).
