Calgary Public Library is well-known for popular programs for babies, toddlers, kids, and families. Did you know we also offer a diverse array of opportunities for adults?
Download a copy of the November – December issue of Library Connect to see all our programs.
Our adult programs focus on learning, enrichment, and the exploration of new ideas. They’ll feed your curiosity — or spark a new interest — on many topics, including health, civic issues, history, art, and reading. From Think Big: Approaches to Pain to the Marda Loop Justice Film Festival and Idea Igniters: Sparking Conversations to Energize & Inspire, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Ideas also take centre stage on the fifth floor at Central Library. The Idea Lab is a place to meet, share ideas, and collaborate, with sessions exploring human-centered design and social entrepreneurship. Here, the Creative and Curious Thinkers’ Book Discussion Group invites you to bring and discuss your favourite book about curiosity.
Curiosity and creativity are also part of our offerings for the Library’s youngest members, although expect a lot more play! Our list of programs for babies, toddlers, and children starts on page 4. Check out our seasonal offerings for winter, including Winter Celebrations Around The World, Jingle Bell Babies, and Create A Greeting Card.
Whatever your age or interest, Calgary Public Library is here to help you explore and learn.
