Online Courses For Kids
Free, interactive, instructor-led, online courses. Calgary Public Library card holders are entitled to take two courses per calendar year. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
- Please read the syllabus and course requirements carefully prior to enrolling, as we cannot drop or transfer you from a course. Once you have engaged with the course online, it will count towards your two free course whether you complete or not.
- If you don't visit the course by the second week of classes, you are automatically dropped from the course.
Kanopy is a video streaming service providing thoughtful entertainment aimed at adults and kids. It offers over 30,000 documentaries, classics, international films and training videos, including selections from the Criterion Collection, Great Courses, and Frontline series, along with age-appropriate film and TV for kids.

Each library member receives 10 film credits per month which refresh on the first of the month. Once a film is selected, you have 3 days to play your selection as many times as you wish.
