Keeping “brain busy” when school is out is so important to help prevent summer slide and prepare for September. Calgary Public Library offers the Ultimate Summer Challenge, a fun, free program that keeps kids learning and reading every July and August. It is a chance for kids to explore their interests and learn new things through over 300 workshops, demonstrations, and performances by more than 40 community organizations.
Kids complete reading and learning challenges to win awesome prizes. Whether through individual classroom visits or in your learning commons, the Library brings resources, shares books and builds excitement about this annual learning opportunity.
Option of 25- or 45-minute presentation
