Get Outside and Play!
Don't let the cold keep you inside this February. Check out these nature-inspired reads then bundle up for some winter fun!
Healthy development in early childhood sets the course for a child’s future, leads to kindergarten readiness, and prepares children for lifelong learning and success.
Babies, toddlers, and families can learn through play at Early Learning Centres located at 12 libraries. The Library also offers many free early literacy programs, designed to fit each stage of a child’s early development, as well as an extensive collection of books for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
We want to help fill your child’s home bookshelf and encourage your whole family’s love of reading. With the My First Bookshelf program, children from birth to age five receive a free, personalized book every month that they get to keep. Let's help your child get excited about books!
