Baby Rhyme Time
Welcome your baby to the Library. Enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories that will make your baby smile.
Healthy development in early childhood sets the course for a child’s future, leads to kindergarten readiness, and prepares children for lifelong learning and success.
Babies, toddlers, and families can learn through play at Early Learning Centres located at 12 libraries. The Library also offers many free early literacy programs, designed to fit each stage of a child’s early development, as well as an extensive collection of books for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
At 12 libraries across the city, Early Learning Centres offer opportunities for kids ages zero to five to learn, play, and take part in activities and games. Each Early Learning Centre, built around a distinct concept, is designed to be flexible, open-ended, and fun.
