Calgary Public Library is looking for dynamic presenters on a variety of topics for Library locations!
The Library serves all Calgarians. We give higher priority to programming that can be offered at a minimum of two libraries located in different areas of the city, and the following criteria:
- Offered at least twice in a two-month period
- No more than 2 hours in length, not less than 30 minutes
- Offered within our regularly scheduled hours of operation, free, and open to Library patrons
Programs presented at the Library must be high quality, accessible, inclusive, relevant, open to the public, and aligned with the Library’s strategic direction and current priorities.
An alternative to providing a Library program is to book our free community rooms. For more information on this option, visit the Book a Meeting Space page.
The Library cannot promote a specific commercial enterprise. Typically, sales or solicitation is not allowed on Library premises, with some exceptions such as book sales by authors. Private appointments cannot be booked before, during, or immediately after the program. Presenters are not permitted to ask for patron contact information.
