Visit the Wellness Desk

The Wellness Desk is a free service at Central Library in partnership with Wood's Homes. It provides access to free mental health and addictions support, health information, and referral services. 

If you aren't able to visit the Wellness Desk in person, you can call 403.299.9699, text 587.315.5000 (9 am — 10 pm), or live chat (9 am — 10 pm) to speak with a mental health professional and get immediate care for emotional or mental health challenges.

Use the study space, and then reward your hard work with a gaming session on our free-to-play video game consoles.

There’s also studios for making videos and music, tabletop gaming, a performance space, and areas to learn about art, sewing, robots, photography, coding and more, all just for teens.

In the Arthur J.E. Child Foundation Business Library, discover resources to enhance your business. Arthur J.E. Child was a voracious reader who acquired a substantial personal library collection. He was also an avid promoter of business education and competence.
