Programs are offered on a bi-monthly schedule. Registration typically opens about three weeks before programs begin. Most program registrations open at 10:00 am.

Baby Rhyme Time is designed for babies up to 12 months old and their caregivers.
Some sessions require registration, while others are drop-in. Check the program listing on calgarylibrary.ca/programs for location details and registration requirements.
Registration for Baby Rhyme Time opens one day before most other programs during the bi-monthly registration period.
Find your program on the Library website and select a date and location.
If registration is required, follow the registration link to reserve your spot. Some programs are drop-in and do not require registration.

Children may need their own Library card to register. For some early learning programs, both the child's and caregiver's Library cards are required.

Yes. You can register eligible participants who have their own Library card.
Many registered programs offer a waitlist when all available spaces are filled.
Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a spot. If a space becomes available, it may be offered to someone on the waitlist.

Please cancel your registration if you can no longer attend. This allows someone else to participate.
You can cancel your registration through your online account or by contacting Library Hotline.
If a program is cancelled, registered participants will be notified.
Library storytimes are drop-in and do not require registration.
Some children's programs require caregivers to stay and participate, while others are designed for children to attend independently.
