Chinese Language Day

Celebrate the United Nation’s Chinese Language Day with the Library and the Chinese Consulate. Bring your friends and family for a free Chinese language lesson, learn traditional Chinese calligraphy, and immerse yourself in the rich culture, music and dance of China through presentations and performances.

LitCon 2025

Join Calgary Public Library for LitCon 2025! The literary arts festival is for students in grades K–9. It provides exposure to literary artists and fosters creativity, social connections, and skill development.

These virtual sessions designed for your classroom will inspire students to explore creative processes in writing, drawing, poetry, music, comics, oral storytelling, and more.

LitCon is presented in partnership with Wordfest and AWCs.
