Children’s Illustrator in Residence Virtual Classroom Visit 

Isabelle Ackroyd, the Children’s Illustrator in Residence at Calgary Public Library, will join your class to talk about comics and stories. She will go through her artistic journey, as well as lead participants through some storytelling exercises and completing a three-panel comic.

Imagine going to school at Central Library. Campus Calgary Library School lets classes attend school at our East Village location for a whole week. Your class can also take a guided tour of any Library location, or go on a self-guided tour (Central only).

Teachers can also request free school visits that relate to a variety of curriculum topics, including media literacy, Canadian military history, book talks, and storytelling. Book a visit to your classroom.
