Ultimate Summer Challenge Orientation

Book your Ultimate Summer Challenge Orientation

Ultimate Summer Challenge is a free yearly program offered by Calgary Public Library that encourages students of all ages to read, learn, and create all summer long. They also have the chance to win fantastic prizes, like an iPad, board games, or a family pass to a trampoline park!

Classrooms are invited to attend a virtual event where students will learn about the Challenge, including great book titles and free Library programs and services to keep them reading and learning throughout the summer. These events are 30 minutes, with optional Q&A afterwards.

Unable to attend one of the above virtual info sessions? We’re happy to make a special visit to your class in person. The 30-minute presentation is designed to work best for your schedule and will get your students excited about the Challenge by introducing the grand prizes, sharing great reads, and showcasing some of the programs and services that will be offered at the Library this summer.

Fill out the form below to request an in-person visit, and we’ll reach out to you to schedule it. Visits are subject to staff availability at community libraries, and we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
