Rozsa Arts at the Library

Call for Performing Artists

Supported by Mary Rozsa de Coquet, Rozsa Arts at the Library is an initiative that brings artists to Library locations for free performances and workshops. These artists work in genres that include music, dance, puppetry, drama, oratory, and circus arts, and more.

With more than 6.7 million visits annually, 600,000 members and outreach across our city, the Calgary Public Library plays a pivotal role in Calgary’s social and cultural development, and supports emergent artists building their brand and reaching new audiences.

Please review the scope, timelines and deadlines, artist stipend payment, and terms and conditions of the initiative before completing your application.

Please provide an artist statement that describes your genre, performance experience, and how your application aligns with Rozsa Arts at the Library.

Provide two links to video clips from previous performances. Videos must be housed online. No download or Dropbox links will be accepted. Videos are judged solely on content, not production value.

Please provide two high-resolution photos representative of the artist/collective.
