From performances to private functions, our event spaces have everything you need to make your gathering a success.

The Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall and Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery can each be requested up to a year in advance.

The BMO Community Room, and combined rooms 0-13 and 0-14, can be requested up to 30 days in advance.

Room Rental Rates

Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall

  • Not-for-profit (three-hour minimum):
    Rental fee: $100/hour
    Staff & security fee: $60/hour
    Combined rental fee: $160/hour

  • Regular booking (three-hour minimum):
    Rental fee: $250/hour
    Staff & security fee: $60/hour
    Combined rental fee: $310/hour

Performance Hall, plus meeting rooms

  • Not-for-profit (three-hour minimum)
    Rental fee: $200/hour
    Staff & security fee: $60/hour
    Combined rental fee:     $260/hour

  • Regular booking (three-hour minimum)
    Rental fee: $500/hour
    Staff & security fee: $60/hour

Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery

The main entrance opens into the Shaikh Family Welcome Gallery, a versatile and breathtaking space for large-scale special events, celebrations, and after-hours private bookings. Unfortunately, we are unable to host weddings at the Library.
