Stop by the Print(ed) Word Exhibit on your way into this space. Indigenous Placemaking is also located on the level, in the Elders' Guidance Circle, where anyone is invited to speak to Indigenous Elders from multiple nations. Calgary's Story, the local history collection, is located at the south end, while the Simmons-Harvie Community Living Room on the north end looks out over the LRT line. The Artist in Residence studio, where you can find three different types of artists throughout the year, is also located on this level.

There are also purpose-specific rooms for music practice (Memorial Park) and creative studios (audio, video, and post-production) at Central Library. Event spaces are also available at Central Library.
