Request an event space

Due to the high volume of requests for event spaces at Central Library, we aim to respond to requests within one month of submission. Submissions will be responded to in the order they are received, regardless of the requested event date.

We are currently assessing requests from January 2025 onward.

If you have already been in contact with the Events team or are waiting for a reply after submitting the online form, please do not resubmit your request.

Use of Space Bookings

Note that if you have a valid Library Card, and your request is for use of Level 0 rooms or the BMO Community Room at Central only, is required for 3 hours or less, and is requested at least 30 days from your desired booking date, you may be eligible for a free Use of Space booking. Submit your request and wait for our team to respond. 

For all other free room booking requests, book a meeting space at the Library.

Due to the volume of requests we receive, if your requested date is unavailable, you will not receive a response.
