Gale Courses: Online Courses for Life-Long Learning Online Courses Library Card Required.

Free, interactive, instructor-led, online courses. Calgary Public Library card holders are entitled to take two courses per calendar year (January - December). Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
  • Please read the syllabus and course requirements carefully prior to enrolling, as CPL cannot drop or transfer you from a course. Once you have engaged with the course online, it will count towards your two free course whether you complete or not. 
  • If you don't visit the course by the week 2 class, you are automatically dropped from the course.

As of July 2017, we recommend  that existing Zinio app users migrate to the new app called RBdigital.   On October 23, 2017 the old Zinio for Libraries app will display the following message: "Zinio for Libraries has merged with RBdigital. To access your magazine collection, please download the new RBdigital app now.   Note: Your username and password will remain the same.”
