English Conversation Group

What will you do?

Help new Canadians with intermediate conversation skills practice their English speaking and listening skills in small groups. Volunteers lead interesting conversations about travel, food, shopping, careers, etc.

Program Length: Two-hour weekly session for six weeks.

Fluent in English
Strong facilitation skills
Active listening skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds and all skill levels

Volunteer Responsibilities

Attend an orientation and training session
Commit to all dates of the program
Create a supportive, fun, and rewarding environment
